perfect nights.

Every once in a while you just have one of those nights when life seems so perfect.

I got to cook delicious food.

I went to a dance that seemed lame but in the end I had a blast.

I had girl bonding with Mayra and we got to discuss boys (again) and I got some good advice.

It snowed. and it was gorgeous. and we had a snowball fight at the dance. so fun.

I am going to curl up in my bed and think about how fun tomorrow is going to be.

I am so excited to go home!

another bites the dust.

yep, another one of my really good friends is engaged.

I can't handle this!

I am so happy for her but it just freaks me out!

needless to say, it made tonight interesting and fun!

I am so busy right now I might just have to fall off the face of the earth.

After that, there will be updates that include all the delicious food I have been making and my new work-out routine. and a freak-out post based on recent events.

I love my roommates because...

We have roommate prayer at night.

We hide creepy plastic rats in each others' drawers.

Katie and I had a fake fight yesterday over whose fault it was that the we blew the power in our apartment.

They are so happy and awesome.

there's nothing so great as falling asleep to your roommate playing guitar. and then you and all your roommates get in bed at 9:30.

or watching the fireside and eating a delicious "dinner" after Fast Sunday with awesome people.

or having weekly cocoa bean trips with your old roommate.

or getting to do lots of fun science experiments in your 276 class.

or starting the morning with exercise before class. and having a work-out buddy to do it with. and walking out to snow falling.

or having a sushi-making date tonight :)

or knowing that you have a book to read for history in 3 days and a physics test that you understand nothing for right around the corner!

the weekend :)

This weekend was so fantastic! On Friday, I was moving and unpacking all night.

Well, most of the night. First after school, Katie and I made a cake to 212 to say goodbye. with all our little heads on the cake and a field of flowers and a little stream with fish (and sharks?) in it.
Then, we broke out the sparkling cider and celebrated my arrival. what followed was hours of sorting through all the mass chaos in my room.

After a little while, Katie, Sarah, and I went to the creamery for dinner. While we were there, I saw one of my kittens from Aspen Grove! and I was so excited!

Saturday was slightly fantastic as well. Katie and I made breakfast together (biscuits and gravy--I have been craving it hardcore since Aspen Grove is over) and Kristina was there and we all ate a roommate breakfast! It felt weird because I felt like afterwards I would just head back to 212 and go home, so I am still kind of getting used to not living there. let's just say that I go back and visit like 10 times a day. which I am totally okay with.

the rest of the day consisted of reading my history book that I am oh so behind in, playing gamecube with Hay Hay and Ash, napping, reading more of my book-- and then, another date? what? take note that I have beaten my goal of the semester for going on one date. It was a triple-ish date. we went to see a movie, cooked dinner, and played gamecube. oh, and getting shot by marshmallow guns on the way to my apartment and then retaliating with a squirt gun. I had a lot of fun!

The weekend was well-deserved after all the stress and frustration trying to move this week caused on top of all my schoolwork.

Today is Sunday. break the fast at 4:30. Boyd K. Packer at 6 :)

crazy

I want you all to know that I am crazy and I don't know what I am doing with my life.

okay, that's a lie. I know what I am doing with my life but I am making crazy decisions on the fly.

I always said that if a spot opened up in 214, I would take it. well, one did. and it was in the room Anne was going to be in. so I am trying to switch into that contract today.

besides trying to switch into that contract today, I've got an essay due at five that I have yet to write, two physics homework assignments, and my reading for my temple class. then, I potentially have to move everything out today.

I know I can get it all done... I'm just stressed.

Thankfully I have great roommates that help me when I am stressed and take care of me.
